Yes. Reading SimulationsWatch costs nothing, there is no account to create and no paywall. We never ask readers for payment.
Through advertising. Studios can pay to promote a title with a link to its Google Play page, and we also earn from advertising placed around our recommendations of free-to-play games that themselves run in-app ads.
Promoted links are labelled. Ratings are written before any commercial conversation and are never changed because of one. The full statement is in our terms.
Every title listed here was priced at zero on Google Play at the time we checked it. Most include optional in-app purchases and in-app advertising, which is how the studios are paid — we say so in the review whenever it shapes the experience.
We search Google Play away from the top charts, install anything that looks promising, and keep only titles that are still enjoyable after an hour. We favour smaller studios and calm genres: farming, rail, cooking, decor, growing, tidy management.

About us
A small desk with a long install list
SimulationsWatch started in 2026 as a shared note among four friends in Canada who kept sending each other free Android sims that nobody was writing about. The note grew, the install list grew with it, and eventually it needed a home of its own.
We are not a studio, a publisher or a store. We install games, play them properly, and describe what an ordinary evening with them feels like — the pace, the interruptions, the part that keeps you coming back. If a title stops being enjoyable, it comes off the shortlist, whatever the download figures say.
