What this site is

SimulationsWatch is an editorial site. We publish reviews, shortlists and screens of simulation and management games that are free to install from Google Play. Everything here is information and opinion: our scores describe how a title felt to our desk during testing, not a promise about how it will feel to you.

Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Advertising statement

This is the part we want you to read.

• The site is free for readers. There is no subscription, no paywall and nothing for sale to you here.
• Our costs are covered by advertising. That takes two forms: paid promotion of a title, shown with a link to its Google Play page; and advertising displayed alongside our recommendations of free-to-play games, which themselves earn from in-app advertising.
• Where a placement is paid for, it carries a visible label. If you cannot see a label, the placement was not paid for.
• Ratings and written opinions are produced before any commercial discussion and are not altered because of one. Nobody can purchase a score, a place on a shortlist, or the removal of a criticism.
• We may receive a payment when a reader follows certain links to Google Play. This never changes the price you pay, which is zero for the games listed here.

How reviews are produced

Each title is installed on our own Android handsets and played for at least an hour before anything is written. We record the pace of a session, what the game asks of you, whether it continues while the screen is off, and how in-app purchases and in-app advertising shape ordinary play. Scores are the view of the desk on the day of testing.

Games change. A title that was calm and generous at review time may be reworked by its studio afterwards. Ratings and prices shown on Google Play may also differ from those shown here — the store page is always the authority.

No affiliation

We are an independent desk. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC, Google Play, or any of the studios and publishers whose games appear on this site. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC.

Intellectual property

Game names, icons, screens and other studio materials remain the property of their respective owners and are shown here for the purpose of identification and review. Our own text, layout, design system and selection of titles are the property of SimulationsWatch. You may quote short passages with a link to the page; wholesale copying is not allowed without our written permission.

If you own rights in material shown here and want it removed or credited differently, write to [email protected] and we will act promptly.

Links to other services

Our pages link to Google Play and occasionally to studio sites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, their availability or their handling of your data. Their own terms and privacy notices apply once you leave this site.

Disclaimer

The site is provided as it is. We take care to keep names, developers, ratings and prices accurate at the time of writing, but we do not warrant that everything is complete, current or free of error. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the site, from downloading a game, or from any interruption of service.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province in which the site is operated. Disputes fall to the competent courts of that province, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you hold where you live.
